Discover Scuba

Discover Scuba is a great way to find out if you like diving. We do this day trip of one or twho dives in a very safe way. We will always be close to you and hold you if necessary. Typical depth for Discover Scuba is 5-7 meters. Normally we choose Tulamben for Discover Scuba in Bali. We will tell you the most important safety measures and central rules of safe diving. Maybe we will even show you a video during transfer to the dive site.

Open Water Diver Course Bali

This Course is for beginners. It consists of profound diving theory and practice of the most important skills to give the basics to be a safe diver.
We teach this course in three days. Normally one day consists of pool training where you will learn all the skills you will have to apply in the open water, too.
But for experienced snorklers and good swimmers and folks who are self-confident there is the possibility to practise in the Open Water from the start. The advantage is obvious. You will have more real bali diving right from the start. And you will still learn all the skills necessary for the Open Water certification. But you will do it in easy conditions in the sea.
If you decide to do the Open Water Diver Course from the start in the Open Water you will have six dives. If you do the NORMAL pool version you will have four open water dives.
Two participants is the minimum for either way of doing the course.
We will teach the course in a fun way. There is great video material to make the classes more fun. Our groups are small - our diving and teaching service is very individual. It is your holidays after all and we try to make them enjoyable for you.

Super Open Water: 420 US$ including nine Open Water dives (mostly in Tulamben). Intensive diver training leads to better results in buouyany, in feeling safe when diving, in general diving procedures. The Super Open Water is a 3 days diving seminar with two overnight stays in Tulamben. This diver training is a perfect way to make you a good diver and start the Advanced in a self confident way.

Advanced Open Water Diver Course Bali

The Advanced - Course broadens the knowledge and skills you have aquired in the Open Water Course. It consists of five different "diving topics". Two of them are compulsory: "Deep Diving" and "Navigation". Underwater Navigation is abolutely necessary when you dive regularly and don´t want to depend to 100% to your divemaster without being able to know if is doing a good job or not. Deep Diving is a part of normal diving when you engage in diving with a group, when you do live aboard diving, e.g. Deep diving means diving below 18 meters, the limit you are supposed to respect as an Open Water Diver. Deep doesn´t mean the "abyss" however. The limit for Advanced Open Water Divers is 30 meters. For anything deeper you are supposed to do extra training.
For doing a deep dive in the Advanced Open Water Course I would recommend the Drop Off in Tulamben. There are no strong currents which is good if you dive deep for the first time.
For Navigation, too, it is important that there are no considerable currents which can falsify your compass work.

Besides of these central diving skills you can choose three others which you like, which should make enjoy your diving adventures.
I will just mention some of the possibilities you have got.

Wreckdiving: This dive which will be preceded by some theory can be done very well and with greatest benefits in Tulamben Bali at the wreck of the USS - Liberty. Wreckdiving Tulamben means as all other wreckdiving - if there is no special training given - to dive the wreck FROM OUTSIDE. For diving in the wreck you need proper training an equipment.

Underwaterfotography: We will teach you the most important aspects of underwater photography, mention that perfect boyancy is a desirable part of taking underwater photos. If there is time and the equipment we will show you good underwater photos and you try to understand how they are taken and what makes them good photos.
Then you do it yourself. You take photos with flash and without to see the difference. You will take the photos home with you on a CD. Doing underwater photography is hard when you are in a current. For a video with two Advanced Open Water students click here.

Super Advanced Open Water Diver       -     7 dives     

In this course you have more dives and more diving training. Between the dives you can ask questions about safe diving, about fishes or corals, about diving procedures – whatever seems to be important for you.
First day: 4 dives
Second day: 3 dives
After the course diving should feel more natural - maybe as a walk in the parc.

Rescue Diver Course in Bali

The Rescue Diver Course will teach you how to take care of other divers in Emergency situations without putting yourself in unnecessary danger. It will also increase your safety be teaching you how to understand emergency situations and how to respond in the best possilbe way.
