When diving, try not to shower the sunfish with your bubbles, because for a sunfish, air bubbles might be like water drops are for humans. And they swim away when you dive under them and breath out. Approach slowly, and carefully, because you want to be a friend and you will be able to take some underwater pictures. Or if you like we do the underwater photography for you with you close to the sunfish on the photo. For mantas, sunfish or sharks you should consider a wide angle lens - maybe a wide angle zoom is the most convenient because you don´t know how close you are going to get.
We will organize special bali photo tours considering your special photographic interests. If you like we will show good places for macro photography or if you are more interested in sharks or manta rays, we fill try to get you a custom made bali diving trip.
There are good nudibranches off Padangbai, Tulamben or Menjangan. For this it is very good to have a macro lens. To some housings the macro lens can be added from outside. This might be the best option for you because it increases your flexibility.
Underwater photo services
We will take good pictures of you while you are enjoying the underwater world Balis. But sure, we have to work together. If you want to have some good photos with you hovering over a soft coral you have to be aware how you want to look on the photo, e.g. shots against the surface with a little bit of color at the corals look very good. The diver in the blue is the contrast to the coral giving life and tension to the composition of the photo. For our photographic skills we will charge you 100 US$ for two dives. This includes a DVD. There is no postproduction included in the price. The price of the diving services is extra.
We will teach you underwater photography talk about the best angles to capture good photos, about over - and underexposure, about shutter speed, about the effect of flashes.
Last but not least you will use a photocamera in an underwater housing and take photos by yourself. The short underwater photo course includes a theory part in which we will explain to you the basics of underwater photography. And it will include ample viewing material which helps you to understand what a good photo is. We will do two dives in which you will use the photocamera. After the first dive we will try to analyse the outcome of your performance. After the second dive we will analyse the results again.
There is a DVD included in the price of 150 US$ which excludes the diving services.
