F.A.Q.

Frequently asked questions about diving

What to take care about when you dive?

The most important thing to take care about when diving is your pressure gauge. Always make sure to check your air consumption. And be ready to go shallower when you reach half of your air supply

How to maximize your safety when diving?

Think about the conditions of the dive site you want to dive in. Have a safety saussage ready when diving in currents or when you surface at a site where dive boats might come across. Be healthy. Drink enough water.

How deep should/can you dive safely?

Respect your experience level. For beginner divers the depth limit is 18 meters. And respect your dive tables. Dive the tables in a reasonable way. Give you always a safety margin when you dive.
For experienced divers (with an Advanced Open Card) diving depth are recommended to a maximum of 30 meters. Be reasonable and don´t go to your time limits because it is good to be on the safe side.

Most sharks are not dangerous. It is very unlikely to encounter a dangerous shark in Bali waters. The sharks you might encounter when diving Bali are mostly white tip reef sharks and some black tip reef sharks. To dive with these elegant animals is fascinating.
Even you will not encounter dangerous sharks diving Bali: Don´t tease or touch them.
The most dangerous shark is the great white shark who can be found in temperate waters off Australia, California and South Africa.
